“Clothes that are loose, figure flattening or tight fitting dresses that are easy to wear are the hottest trends for the summer of 2010. Neutral shades are also in this summer, with the fresh candy color palette just like the 80s but with more depth. Below are the hottest trends in the fashion runway for the summer of 2010. No matter what your fashion statement is or whatever body size you are in, it does not matter because everyone can be fashionable regardless of age, size or generation.

• SKIRTS – Skirts that are in this summer for 2010 are of different lengths and sizes. They are mostly shorter than the usual skirts people wear the rest of the year.
• SHORTS – The shorts for this summer go from very short to thigh-high. The shorts are also in leopard prints or they can be in pin stripes from elegant designs to sporty look. Shorts became so popular last year and it will continue this year.
• DRESSES – Women can wear dresses that create a silhouette effect which is very sexy for the summer. They can also go for a playful, romantic or futuristic designs.
• SHOES – Choosing the proper shoes for the right season is also important. You would not want to wear a boots when going to the beach. Wearing heels during summer is okay. High Heels are great to pair with shorts which give you that sexy and feminine look. Clogs, platforms and pumps give women wearing gowns that down-to-earth look.
• JEWELRY – Necklaces, earrings, bangles and bracelets should be used with caution. You should try to find jewelry that best fits your outfit. Another thing to take note is, as much as possible, try to avoid wearing expensive jewelry when going to beach. Chances are, you might lose them or someone might snatch or steal them from you.
• TEE SHIRTS – White tees are last year’s craze, they are still in this year. White get ups are also in this year. For instance, you can wear a white tee shirt and pair it white shorts and white sandals. You will still look hip.
• JACKETS AND BLAZERS – Jackets and blazers are still great this summer but wearing them during a warm weather may be uncomfortable.”
