The Magic Of Lego Brings Harry Potter Alive

If your child is a Harry Potter admirer and you have to get something that would make their eyes light up and keep them pre-occupied all day, then the Harry Potter Lego set is going to be an excellent choice.  Whether you are looking for a Holiday or birthday present and do not know the place to start then this article can point you to the right direction.

Lego Harry Potter packages are typically in high demand each year and LEGO reveals new designs allowing hobbyists and moms and dads alike to explore the joy of Harry Potter.  This past year 6 new sets have been produced, Hagrid’s Hut, Hogwarts Castle, Hogwart’s Express Train Set, The Burrows, Quidditch Match and Freeing Doby all with a variety of minifigures and stages and scenes around the stories or movies.

When selecting a Harry Potter legos set for a start pay attention to the different degrees of difficulty.  Harry Potter Lego units are compatible with kids from 7 years old and upwards and some need to have more patience to develop while others are simpler to follow.

A great first-timers level would be the Burrows which is smaller sized and less costly than the other sets and it is a great choice to introduce your child to Harry Potter legos.  The Burrow is the place the Weasley family lives and the scene that is put together by Lego, is the Burrows being bombarded from the Death Eaters.  It includes minifigures Molly and Arthur Weasley which are not available in various other Harry Potter Lego units thereby can be a must-have for collectors.

Among the larger in size and more sought after kits is Hogwarts Castle that features 11 minifigures. It is the most detailed Harry Potter set with well over 1,000 pieces and 3 instruction books.  There are 4 parts to the Castle to build, and when created comes to two feet wide with lots of nooks and crannies to hide in and some unique discoveries to create.

The largest Harry Potter set is called Diagon Alley with more than 2,000 bits and features 3 buildings together with 11 minifigures.  It is suggested for over 14 years old and may be done with younger kids since it will just take longer to finish.  As it is a more recent set, the 3 buildings each come in their own designated bags so each one can be completed at a time.

Each of the sets consist of stickers to put on and instruction manuals.  Some kids prefer to build the sets on their own or some people like to turn it into family time with each other.  There is a large range of Harry Potter Lego models for kids to to recall the wonder through the films and books of Harry Potter.
